What is the process for getting a custom-fit brace?
KinesisPlus DME provides personalized bracing solutions with convenience in mind:
- A licensed PT will come to you and evaluate you for a custom brace and verify benefits
- If eligible, you’ll receive a custom-fitted brace with treatment plan.
- In many cases, insurance or Medicare may cover the cost at no charge to you.
Am I eligible for a custom-fit medical brace through my insurance or Medicare?
If you have health insurance, chances are you’ll be covered. However, our team will verify your benefits and update you prior to your first evaluation. Get started here.
What are the benefits of bracing?
Bracing provides many benefits, such as aiding injury recovery, promoting post-surgical healing, stabilizing, reducing swelling, and enhancing quality of life.
How long does it take to receive my brace after the evaluation?
It can total anywhere from 2-3 weeks. However, this will vary and depend on receiving paperwork from your Primary Care Physician and authorization from insurance. After, brace will be delivered to you and and fitted.
